I just checked and you have 5 divisional wins and I only have 4 divisional wins. I'm guessing this is the reason.

yeah, tiebreakers for divisions are head to head, division record, points scored. Dont worry, my team sucks.

Your team definitely doesn't suck. You are just a little weak at RB. The rest of your team is scary now that Megatron is back.

TMC... I sent you a trade offer yesterday. Even though we are past the trade deadline, I guess they keep trades open that have been offered prior to the deadline.

I guess they aren't open anymore, because I didn't get your proposal, Chum.

Here is hoping that Drew Brees gets 26 points or less tonight. If he does I clinch a playoff spot in Bada's pay league. My team has been horrible this season, but have been kicking it in gear at the right time and I am still alive.

Having forgotten about my first live draft of the year (yeah, tells you something about my recent state for me to forget about a draft I have been waiting for for what feels like forever!) and obviously receiving a quite messed up team, I feel like I have made some pretty nifty moves.

Its a 2 QB league (sorry, I just love them! ha ha), PPR and here is what I got =

    Bridgewater
    Bradford
    Dez Bryant
    Cobb
    Latavius Murray
    Joseph Randle
    Gronk
    Mike Evans

    Blount
    Ivory
    Steve Smith
    Jordan Cameron
    Fitzpatrick
    Gostowski
    Prater
    St Louis

So, first move was Prater dropped for Miami (man, they have a great early season schedule and adding Suh, hmm, liking this unit!).

Someone panicked on Gurley and dropped him, so snagged him for Fitzpatrick.

Then spotted the good news on Arian Foster (who went undrafted!!) so gobbled him up Blount (dont fucking care, NEVER shall I have that piece of shit on one of my teams after his SB cracks).

AND THEN!!!!...........I spotted a guy whos starting RB's were/are Alfred Blue and D.Williams..........so I offered him Gurley and Cameron for...........RUSSELLLLLLL WILLLLLLLSONNNNN!!!! and Tyler Eifert.

Which he accepted.......so, Im liking this team quite a bit more now.

    Russ
    Bridgewater
    Dez
    Cobb
    Murray
    Foster (eventually)
    Gronk
    Evans
    Gostowski
    Miami/St Louis

    Bradford
    Randle
    Steve Smith
    Ivory
    Eifert

    Thoughts?

I made a pure "feel good" move for week two in my money league. I picked up Mariota and will be starting him @ Cleveland instead of starting Big Ben against SF. My question...

Could this be a good "for points" move?

Its tough to make a judgement this early in the season. It could be a good move, or it could be a terrible move. The Titans staff had so much time to gameplan game# 1, so that could have helped Mariota succeed. Also, playing Tampa probably helped. But if the rest of your team is solid, why not?

By the way, my feel good move was picking Carlos Hyde, and boy, did he deliver.

    Your "Other" Teams

My friend made one. Draft is Sunday night. If anyone else wants to join, there should be 4 more spots after Quaz & my other friend join.

My team got auto drafted haha. Totally got side tracked.

That being said, I'm happy with Kawhi & Lillard.

My first year playing in a competitive fantasy basketball league, got invited by a few former co-workers into a league that they do every year. What do you guys think of my team? I am not an expert on NBA Fantasy at all...

Guards: Steph Curry, Devin Booker, Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Clarkson, Dante Exum
Forwards: Danilo Gallinari, Jabari Parker, Gordon Hayward, Brandon Ingram
Bigs: DeMarcus Cousins, Hassan Whiteside, Pau Gasol, Enes Kanter, Joel Embiid, Tristan Thompson

Basically I tried to go with a mix of high efficiency, reliable and consistent starts and interesting talent either very young or coming off of injury (or both).

I haven't played fantasy basketball in a couple years, but from my past experience, once you have a couple easy stats filled, really isolating on the stats that are hard to win in like blocks or steals really is key.
