Funny enough, I drafted Martin in another league, as well. Just like I could've had Antonio Brown, but settled for ... CJ Spiller. Filthy.

    Thanks, fellas.

Tough deal. I mean, on paper, Bell is the better bet, but you don't have much in terms of WRs after trading Bryant or Cobb. I don't think I'd make that deal, not unless it's expanded so you get a better WR (maybe adding Spiller or Bradshaw to the deal).

And I drafted Martin in BOTH leagues I'm in. Tell me about it... btw, I'm open to any deals, in both leagues.

Watching Cavs vs Bulls now. Man those teams are SOLID.

Rose is so explosive and fun to watch.

WTF? He literally manually dropped DT, Olsen and the Pats DEF from your squad?

I stopped trusting in random free leagues a while ago, but that's just ridiculous.

    Re: Your

Nah, it wasnt from mine (although I am sure after this he will probably make an example of me)......but 3 different teams.

He has locked messages now so nothing more can be said of course, not that it means or achieves anything but it always makes me feel better to let them know how abhorrent you find it all.

I wish I had a damned CHOICE to move away from public leagues entirely man.............but remember, there is literally ONE OTHER person who I have met in my entire life who wants and is able to play fantasy basketball..........and thats Jen! :D

We have just entered a public together actually, should be a fun draft sitting next to each other...........I think there may be some eye gouging and hair pulling going on!

By the way, can I just make sure that the seriously homophobic language and insinuations in there are purely because I am sure this guy (from things he said in the draft) would find those sorts of things so disgusting that I had to go there unfortunately to cause potential maximum effect.

Apologies if it made anyone feel a bit "Ohh Bigs, thats not right man..." I just felt a clearly "macho" internet tough guy who made all kinds of "faggit" insults in the draft would be most affected by reading such things.

    Your "Other" Teams

Got suckered in by the folks at my college radio station to join their fantasy basketball league. Best part? I saw my 15-minutes prior to draft alarm go off, snoozed it and then totally forgot about it. So my team went auto drafted and well, it didn't turn out as bad as it usually does.

It's H2H. Starters & utility lock in for the week so you can't change them.

    Kemba
    Batum
    Hayward
    LBJ
    Drummond
    Stephenson
    Robin Lopez
    Gibson
    Jeff Green
    Mozgov
    Ilyasova
    Wilson Chandler
    Henson

Feel like I'm gonna be up there in steals. Other departments like rebounding & 3PM are gonna be an issue, though.

    Re: Your

Not sure I could even if I wanted too.

I think you are looking pretty damned good there man.........although I disagree about your potential struggles in the bounding department.

I mean basically EVERYONE on your roster is a decent/good rebounder for their position! Kemba, Hayward, Batum, Stephenson and Chandler are ALL guards/forwards who rebound at the 4-5 (even 6 or so for Stephenson and Batum) kinds of rate, which is fantastic for the positions that are supposed to not be filling that up.

LBJ, Ilya, Gibson and Jeff Green are gonna be in the 6-7 (maybe 8 for LBJ and Ilya).

Mozgov I think is gonna have a big year overall, especially in bounds so he and Henson (another guy I think will build on last years break out) will be in the 8-9 range.

Lopez is gonna keep on keepin on with his scruffy hustle play on the glass, so he is a double double threat every night............and Drummond! boy o boy, THIS guy will lead the league in rebounding for me.

So yeah, as far as Im concerned, rebounding will be your most dominant category!!! lol.

3's yeah, that might be a problem but there are 2 things with that..............1: You cant win em all, so maybe decided to punt that (its not so bad that you wouldnt win a few weeks here and there)........2: I always feel that 3's are by the easiest category to fill from the wire during the season, there always seem to be multiple guys who come out nowhere to start knocking down some treys or sudeenly start making more than they did last year.

Wire wire guys I am looking at for 3's right now are Marcus Thornton (will def have a role with Boston, they seem to like and he is playing well in pre-season) and my boy Kentavious Caldwell-Pope..........although not that I would even consider dropping anyone you have for either them right now.

Ohh, another guy I like for a big jump this year, including the long bomb department (from a position where you dont normally get it too) is Jared Sullinger.........perhaps try and flip Taj for him? (really dont like Taj's chances of a meaningful fantasy relevant role this year) also, I would try and move Jeff Green before the season starts, think he is gonna sink like a stone after last years one dimensional let down showing.

Jesus, talking a lot Celtics guys there. ;)

Yeah, I never liked Taj from a fantasy perspective. The wire is sort of dry right now, so trades are the best way to go. And lucky enough the people in this league like to swap players (or at least that's what I've heard from their past leagues). Not too fancy on Jeff Green, either.

Thanks for the tips, Bigs. I know you're not in a fantasy league this year, but the way this team will likely get managed, I'll consider you a co-GM.

LOL, no worries man, you know that no matter how badly I am struggling, I can still talk fantasy sports!............and also, I am doing a couple of leagues, just not ours.

There is such a huge difference between being commish, desperately searching for people to fill it out, organising it all, running a draft thread, inputting results, working out clocks/auto picks and making your own picks all over the course of a month............versus a 45 minute job done live draft. ;)

The daily stuff doesnt concern me, as it just becomes part of my morning routine and no bother at all.

    Re: Your "Other" Teams

I really need a QB. Foles went down & the inconsistencies of Kap aren't going to cut it. I'm 3-6 and hovering around the final two spots for the playoffs.

I've asked a few teams for QBs and this is what they've thrown at me..

Philip Rivers & Reggie Wayne for Eddie Lacy & Randall Cobb

    Matthew Stafford for Randall Cobb

    Jay Cutler for Eddie Lacy

    My RBs: Lacy/Bradshaw/Jennings/

    My WRs: Dez/Cobb/Benjamin/Crabtree/Randle

So I'm more inclined to do the Stafford one. Tried to work around the other ones, but to no avail. What do you guys think?

Yuck. I would not do any of them. Unless this is like a 14 team league, I would stick with kaepernick and play waiver wire matchups

    Re: Your "Other" Teams

    Nope, 10 teams.

I put a waiver on Tannehill @ DET. There's also Hoyer @ CIN, Eli @ SEA, & Bortles vs DAL.

Another trade that explored was Marshawn for Cobb. I would've done only that, if Romo wasn't broken. I'm not confident in Dez's productivity in that sense.

Bada... how are you ranked ahead of me in our division? Head to head we each have one win and one loss. We have the same records, but I have more Points For. I'm not complaining, I just don't understand how the ranking system is working here.
