I can't think of any off the top of my head. But the majority of my most sentimental moments revolve around Giants players of the 80's. Mostly from retirements and so on. Other than that, i'll have to get back to you , you impatient bastard. (and no, Ali at the olympics doesn't do it for me :))

I tear up every time I hear the Raiders theme song "the Autumn wind". also every time I see highlights of the Raiders of the 70's and 80's. Ok, sure some of the tears are sadness at how far the shield has fallen :x

I wouldn't say I teared up. But the most monumental sports moment I witnessed in person was when Lou Brock broke the stolen base record at Busch Stadium in the late 70's. Don't remember what year, I was probably between 10-15 years old at the time and felt very lucky to be in attendance.

Though not in attendance, I guess I would also mention the US Olympic Hockey winning the gold medal at the Winter Olympics in 1983 at Lake Placid, NY.
I was a senior in high school and playing hockey for two teams at the time. I can remember the excitement. Don't think I cried but it was quite an emotional high.
