That's where draft strategy and the excitement of the trade deadline come into play. In my other league, which has started its finals this week, I drafted players who specifically would be successful but on above average, middle of the pack teams. This strategy was due to knowing that players from the Spurs and Heat would be resting near the end of the season. If I had known our league ended earlier, I wouldn't have made the trade with xbay that sent Parker to him for Rondo. I saw that the Celtics were struggling this season and saw it as an opportunity to get the best player on a middle of the pack team for someone who I knew was going to rest later (the reason I never end seasons with spurs players... always trade them away early)... That trade ended up biting me in the ass anyway with Rondo going down, but my point is that I would have held on to Parker as he fit my team perfectly. I'm not making an excuse, I take blame for it since I didn't thoroughly check the settings. But I think for future fantasy seasons, things like this should be discussed... unless they were and I missed that too :? haha.
