    The 680 KNBR & 95.7 the GAME thread

    Anyone ever hear about Damon Bruce attempting to take advantage of women during the Giants' 2012 title run? This led to the Giants banning him. I saw a few guys confirm it today including the lead author of BASG.

    No wonder KNBR didn't blink once when Bruce quit to go to 957. His history gets uglier by the day.

    EDIT;

    From Lowell Cohn...

    whoa, thats pretty bad. I do think this reveal will make for some confrontational radio, so it may be entertaining at least.

    Just saw John Lund (host of the 12-3 show with Greg Papa) is leaving The Game for KNBR to co-host with Tom Tolbert. Ray Ratto will probably remain in the limited role he does now.

    Anyone still listen to The Game? I'm only a fan of Middlekauf & Haberman.

    I never got into it. Not that there is any reason for me not to, just didn't. I think Tolbert is fine how his show is now, but he can adapt to anybody. As long as Lund can go along off the rails with him at times, it should work. I do enjoy the Tolbert and Ratto combo though.

    One guy i was hoping would get more time at KNBR, which none of you will care about because nobody watches hockey, is former Sharks announcer Drew Remenda. He is great with Tolbert on his show, and talks about a lot of other topics besides hockey. He was great on the Sharks broadcast, they should have never let him go.

    I'll put it on sometimes in the car and usually end up switching it because of some blowhard shouting into the microphone about sports.
    Lorenzo usually has good take on football... and sometimes other sports. The show with Papa usually turns into a shouting match.
    Unless I want to listen to an A's game, there's really not much content unless they are interviewing a player or coach. Like yesterday they interviewed the voice of the Blazers.. Sometimes interesting to get the other guy's take on us...

    have not listened to either KNBR or 95.7 in at least 2 years. Every time I switch it from satellite radio it is a commercial. I see nothing has changed.

    I listen to the game on average about 8-10 hours a week. As a Raiders and A's fan, I love the station as they focus on those teams. I never liked KNBR, as obviously they are a Giants/Niners station, and I always resented the fact that there was no other choice.

    I am bummed to hear about John Lund leaving. His show with Greg papa was the best one on the station. i really do enjoy Damon Bruce in the afternoon as well.

    I liked Damon bruce on KNBR, but never got around to listening to him on the Game. I don't listen to KNBR as much anymore, on the way to work and on the drive home. Tolbert is the only one i really look forward to
