You are the new GM of all Bay Area Sports. Due to recession, budget cuts, whatever, you are given the unenviable task of having to get rid of either Steph Curry or Tim Lincecum from the Bay Area. You'll be hated no matter who you choose, so just get rid of the one you like the least :|

    * re-voting is allowed on this poll, so go with your gut and change it latter if you think your gut was wrong.

** Vote on who to keep.

Gotta Keep Timmy!!! Though PG is probably a tougher position to fill than a starting pitcher. A 2 time cy young award winner is another story. The guy had a "bad" year and still had about 16 wins and a 3.5 ERA.

lol I hate me too. I don't know what made me think of this exactly. I was thinking how awesome they both are and how crappy it would be for the Bay Area to lose one of them.

Easy for me since I don't know anything about baseball. It's amazing that I know who Lincecum is.

    So... Curry.

It would have been a lot tougher if you had added the two rising stars in key positions of the other Bay Area teams to the poll. Bruce "Almighty" Gradkowski and Alex Smith, of course.

I just meant that its a little bit of a pointless poll...............because its not going to actually give you who "the Bay area" would want to keep out of those two...............its just going to give you = "who likes the Giants, and who doesnt like the Giants or baseball".

Sorry man, wasnt meaning to sound condescending.................suppose we go nothing else to do huh? :D

I don't think it's pointless at all. Of course Curry should be the run away favorite since this is a Warriors board. It's interesteing that he's not, Tim got a few votes. The kid is amazing! If you are a Bay Area sports fan this can be a tough poll.

Go make a a soccer poll

Keep Steph Curry!!! for my own selfish reasons.. I'll have a LOT more fun watching him play basketball, then watching Lincecum pitch.
He's great and all but I have my favorite sport for a reason

I'm a bigger Giants fan than Warriors, but I still voted for Steph. Giants would still be just fine without Timmy. Steph means so much to the Warriors right now. We need that kid to become a cornerstone of the franchise and help build us into a playoff team. I don't expect championships until the financial landscape of the NBA changes, but a winner? Sure.
