I'm going to pick on KD a little. Something that's been bugging me a lot. He gets his pocket picked a often. He's a fine ball handler on the break, and in rhythm. On the post he can always get his own shot. But when he walks it up and stands somewhere between half court and the 3 line, and squares off with his defender basically prepping for an iso drive and pop or long range 3, he gets stripped a lot. Or even worse, loses it off his foot.

yea, i've seen this too.. when he takes too much time to get going, its like the defender gets the timing down.. and of course the dribble is high considering he is 7 ft. he is usually best when he is decisive and does a quick and low cross over to create space or a lane to the rim.

So many missed layups and 3s. The Jazz were giving them every opportunity to win this game. We were our own worst enemy tonight.
Will be interesting to see what they can learn from watching the tape....

It gets frustrating watching them miss shot after shot.. and Utah was nailing so many 3's. I don't think i've ever seen Korver do that much damage against us.

Klay is really struggling offensively...how many 3's did he miss last night, seemed like a lot.

Oh joy. A Christmas ass-whooping by LeDouche and the Fakers.

This team has no spirit right now.

This tweet from Anthony Slater is very telling of how this season is going compared to the last 4:

"Date of 12th loss in the Steve Kerr era:

    First season: March 2nd (46-12)
    Second season: Never (73-9 season)
    Third season: March 8th (52-12)
    Fourth season: February 3rd (41-12)
Fifth season: December 25th (currently 23-12)"

I didn't even watch. Xmas family stuff, but I did check the score. By the end of the third quarter, I knew I would not be rushing home to watch the game on DVR.
    Dudes are struggling big time.

A big factor right now is the fact that Klay can't shoot. Not sure what's going on, but he is not shooting like Klay. Of course the defense isn't there either, but the shooting has been god awful in our losses.

Klay is struggling for sure, but I think the whole first unit is just not gelling. Too many missques.
I really think its time for Kerr to earn the paycheck. Guru time. Meditation ala Phil Jackson, whatever. These guys are not having the same fun as the previous four years.
Understandable but now is the time to do the work to make it fun. Its easy when it comes easy, now you have to will it to happen.
Well that, and they desperately need a shot blocker.

Damn, we're struggling defensively, have no depth at all and Klay and Draymond can't shoot for shit. I'm still not worried, but this loss to Portland has been pretty bad. Just enough to start to get slightly nervous...

Not sure why Bell or McKinnie haven't played more. It's clear to me we could use some energy from the bench. We played our starters more than 40 minutes, except Looney, and that's a recipe for disaster.

Please do not trade away our two time finals MVP....

Their problems were/are mostly mental and not executing crisply.
I still see a hole at the 5 but if our big 3 are hitting their shots, it will gloss over it for now.

Fuck McCaw, I hope he ends up sucking and is a career bench warmer!

"There was no surprise 11th-hour reversal; as had been presumed for days, the Warriors have declined to match Cleveland’s restricted free-agent offer to Patrick McCaw, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski just reported, and McCaw will become a member of the Cavaliers. McCaw reportedly signed a non-guaranteed, $6-million deal with Cleveland late Friday and the Warriors used almost all of their allowed 48 hours to make their decision known. But there was never any indication that the Warriors seriously considered matching and bringing McCaw — who clearly set this up in a way to force the Warriors to let him go — back into their locker room."

Not sure why he'd rather play for Cleveland than for us, particularly when the contract the Warriors offered was better... not in terms of money, but at leat it was fully guaranteed, iirc. This is a $3+$3 million deal, not even guaranteed for a few days.

I guess the guy is supremely confident in his skills and things Cleveland will allow him to showcase his talent and make getting a big contract next time he's a free agent far easier. Then again, he'll have to beat guys like Clarkson, Hood and Burks just to get on the court, which is not a given.

Weird move. Not sure who could have told him to sign with Cleveland, but it doesn't look like a sound decision.

My hometown guy made a bad mistake. Wish his pops was not in his ear. Who is his agent? If not his Dad, surely the agent was telling him to go with the Dubs

If the Cavs really thought McCaw was worth a shit, they would have guaranteed his contract..$3 million a year is nothing in this NBA.

Alright, playing Houston tonight. The Beard has been on fire. If the Warriors wanted to let everyone that they still have the heart of a championship team... they need to make a statement tonight!
