Well, about time to get back to the winning days... We've got the Blazers (surprising team, I don't think they've got enough talent on that roster to keep it up, but they're playing really well, and Dame is amazing) and Kings (also surprising, but deep and Fox is playing much, much better than Lonzo, which is not that surprising).

Curry will be out both games, and Draymond is out vs the Blazers at least.

Let's hope we get a couple of wins and get things back on track.

This from Warriors World... ugh smh... can we get a break for god's sake!

Steph got in a car accident today near the Caldecott tunnel
    He's okay, don't worry.

But my friend drove by and was helping him. Basically some dude hydoplaned and hit his Porsche.

Then, while parked, another car didn't see his Porsche stalled and rear ended him while steph was inside his car waiting.

Apparently Steph comes out of the car and says Fuck my life.

So definitely sounds like he's going to have some minor whiplash, which sucks but at least no major injuries.

This might delay him coming back to the court soon however.

Sorry if I'm rambling, I just got news about this 20 minutes ago.

News team happened to show up to the scene as well, so it will be on the news, I'm guessing later tonight.

Yeah, read about the accident before. He's alright and won't mean any kind of delay, from what I've read. The "fuck my life" comment is probably related to his car being fucked up in the accident.

Glad to hear Steph is going to be OK, that is scary! It has been raining near constantly in the Bay Area the last 3 days.

The team just needs to get healthy and back to winning, the rest should take care of itself.

Well, that was a good first step back... Great game by KD and Klay, both doing their best to carry an extremely thin team. Can't wait til we get some guys back, and Draymond should be back soon.

Damian Jones is playing worse and worse with each game, tho. It's about time to replace him in the starting lineup. It was good to see some signs of life from Bell, tho. Cook starting also helps.

This team is better than last year, so I'm not worried at all. Keep in mind that we've got Steph, Draymond, Cousins and McKinnie out, and all those guys are core or important parts of our rotation (yes, McKinnie included... we've missed his energy a lot). We'll be fine once they're all back.

Saved by the wedgie! Well, definitely an exciting game. Should not have been so close, but I'll take the W...

    RE: Draymond vs KD
We have to stay the course.... Trade no all stars, no starters (except Jones if you can get anything for him).
KD is a rental and always has been. Only way you trade anyone is if things are untenable. Then it has to be KD. Believe it or not.
Moving Draymond would be a BIG mistake because there is no guarantee KD is coming back.
Of course Draymond is capable and might do some stuff that will leave the Warriors no choice...
But I'm saying look for a way to stay the course and get the championship. Let the chips fall this summer.
KD is not committed to this organization long term.
He's not going to retire a Warrior. Keep them both, but put it in perspective, get the ring, deal with this summer how ever it goes...
You never know it might work out.

Agreed on keeping everybody unless the players force the front office to make a move. We're not the Wizards, it hasn't reached that level of dysfunction. In fact, it's all going to get better as soon as we get our guys back.

But, if forced to choose, I don't know how anybody can keep Draymond over KD. And keep in mind I mean keeping one over the other. If KD decides to stay, even on the condition that Draymond goes, you do whatever you need to do to keep KD.

But even if KD leaves after the season, I don't want to keep Draymond on a max deal. Seems to me that, while effective, his game isn't going to age that well, and a max deal kills all our cap and we'd be limited to sign cheap deals and maybe bring a vet or two and the rookies we might have. In that case, with no KD on the team, I'd rather not do much at all, keep Draymond for one more year (let's see what happens then) and then, after the 2019-20 season, with only Steph and Klay on the books for huge amounts, become a player for Anthony Davis, because, if he wants to win a ring, and it doesn't seem like it's going to happen in NOLA, we're going to be his best option.

Klay looked pumped before the game started and he hit his first 3 attempt. I think Klay is going to have a big night.

Holy shit... 18 pt deficit at the half....
I was looking for a well timed time out or two during that Orlando run, never happened...
Hope they wake up, its going to take a hell of an effort to get out of that hole.

KD is really stepping up and showing he can be a leader with Steph out. He has carried us the last 3 wins! Klay also deserves credit fir his role.

Just to put things in perspective, for the last five games, KD is averaging 35.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 2.2 blocks. Those are MVP numbers.

I've been thinking about this beef between KD and Draymond a bit over the last few weeks. Even watched this "interesting" video where the guy claims he predicted this a year ago. Then went into a dissection of 3-4 of the "dynasty" teams in the last 20-30 years.
Jordan was the star of the team, the face of the team, and the alpha
Magic was the star, face, and alpha
He then makes the argument that KD is the star, Steph is the face, and Draymond is the alpha.
(Yeah, I must've been bored over the Tday break lol)
But anyway, he argues that this unique dynamic can also make it vulnerable...
But I think it's what makes them stronger...

He also went into a theory on fatherless families and that's why KD and Draymond react emotionally to conflict
and Steph and Klay respond cool calm and collected...
Definitely a broad generalization that doesn't apply to everyone from single family homes, but I guess I found it a bit interesting.

Sure... also played most of his career in Europe, including a couple of seasons in Spain.

    Damn, I'm getting old...

Saw this online and pretty much sums up the exact way I feel about Draymond. He is SO underrated to the importance of what makes us GREAT.
