A place to discuss the big guy. Pre draft I said he would special, Im even more convinced now. We got one here ...
Love the thread, love the player, Go Dubs!!! Shit, the guy is 19, I dont want to get ahead of myself, but he could be a 10 time All Star!
I saw that play after the fact and jumped out of my seat! It's not often, you see a center block a shot, get the rebound and take it for an unassisted dunk...holy fuck!
Ha! I jumped up outta my chair too, yelling OHHHHHHHHHH! When you consider the fact that he is basically straight out of high school, played 3 college games, no camp, no preseason games, he is making HUGE impression on me. It really makes what he's been able to do, that much more impressive. Stay healthy big fella!
I was reading Strauss’ latest article on his gravitational pull. Man, he really commands attention organically. When Draymond got into him last night telling him to be more physical, we saw him make an even bigger impact. You always have to patient with young bigs because they take longer than wings and guards to develop. But if he continues growing, he’s going to be a force with Curry/Klay/Dray.
Which hurts even more. Because a Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Dray/Wiseman lineup is a ring contender. And the best thing that ever happened to Wiggins' career.
He gives it up and then has the nerve to ask for it back for an alleyoop. Lol, dude is gonna be special. I love his spin move. Once he really masters that, it may end up being one of his most lethal moves in the paint.
Best part of it is that he's still f*cking raw. If he develops nicely, he's going to be such a force...
Tonight was a back to earth game for Wiseman. He was lost. And then the Clippers ate him up in crunch time. It’s growing pains. The game will slow down for him the more he plays and makes mistakes. He’s just not seeing the court very well right now... which absolutely no one expected him to see or do anything well at this point. My hunch is that he’s starting to really feel the pressure to perform, especially when he has the ball in his hands. And he’s just not there yet in terms of seizing the moment. But he will. And we all look forward to watching his journey of getting there.
