Done. In a second, before they have the chance to think twice. Beal is f*cking great. We'd be f*cking morons if we don't do that deal, and Washington would be f*cking morons if they accept.

Yeah, I take it back. You do it. Stephen Curry. Aging window. You don’t bet on a rook to develop in this situation. Cleveland bet on an established vet in Kevin Love over rookie Andrew Wiggins... and funny how that all worked out for both of them.

I am totally comfortable with taking Wiseman at #2. Just too much upside. I think at worst he becomes DeAndre Jordan with a bit more offensive skills. While that is not a superstar, I think having a rim protector, rebounder, and athletic lob guy is exactly what we need. I would be happy with the USC kid as well. So for me we need to come out with Wiseman, Okongwu, or Toppin (barring any trade of the pick).

I just want no part of Ball or Edwards.

I think Minnesota taking Edwards would be a big mistake. He may fit a “positional fit,” but I worry about his longevity in this league. That last article where he basically said he’s not super passionate about basketball... yikes. Not to mention his less than impressive final workouts. They’d be in a better power position if they take LaMelo Ball, who’s easily the most mysterious, yet highly touted prospect in this draft. The epitome of boom or bust guy.

But hey, hope they do take Edwards! It puts the Warriors in a better position on whether they want Wiseman or someone vastly overpays to jump ahead Charlotte for Ball.

I think Edwards has to learn to play basketball. It's not about tools, it's about being effective. And he's not. So no. Ball scares me as well.

I agree with the group that Bada mentions. If we take anybody else, it's going to be a mistake.

Any of the three Bada mentioned will address a need and make the team better than it is now.

don’t fuck around bob, take wiseman and if he isnt ready, trade him.

Nico Mannion. Most mocks had him in the 20s

Mannion was ironically at Steph’s camp a few years ago as a high schooler. Same with Wiseman.

The other pick was a stash pick. Justinian Jessup. He’s in Australia.

First comes Wiseman. Good. Fits a need and has too much potential. I liked the Bulls deal, but I guess it wasn't real, or they liked Wiseman's potential too much. Happy with Wiseman, tho.

I LOVE Mannion in the second. Not sure why, but we keep taking guys in the second that keep falling there for no reason. Oh, well... good for us. I think he's going to be part of the rotation sooner rather than later.

We took Jessup later, and I don't know much of him. Just that he's apparently a great shooter and he's going to play in the NBL next season.
