AB is a Patriot, how is that going to work?
Pat McAfee’s take on the AB situation almost feels so real.
And after watching the new video with AB screaming "I'm free!" upon realizing he's been released, I wonder... is he really that out of touch with reality or did he do it all on purpose to get out of the Raiders and sign with a contender?
Because I just can't understand how the f*cking Patriots can give him a $15 million deal for one year, with $10 million guaranteed, after all the sh*t we've witnessed in Oakland. It kinda validates his f*cking behavior. Instead of the release being a punishment, it almost looks like a reward.
MadBallers, if you haven't, read this article about the "state of the Raiders", mate. Because, from the outside, it certainly seems like everything it says is the truth.
As a Raiders fans since I was 7 years old, nothing surprises me with this team. All they do is stab my heart with a stake every season, and this year it happens before the first game is even played!
Welcome to my world. The football Cardinals left St. Louis for Phoenix in 88? 89? And I've been without a team ever since.
Never did never would back the Rams when they were there.
Can't even watch games anymore... lol
Patriots release AB!! WTF! After a nice first game with them... He must have some serious issues.
Belichick always puts the team first. AB is a freak one-man show at this point, and with all the allegations surrounding him, it's going to become a distraction to the Pats. Of course he cut him.
Not sure what's going to happen with AB now, really, really hope nobody signs him. Although there's always a chance a desperate and foolish owner (Daniel Snyder?) is going to try and sign him. But the whole NFL should stay away from him. Nothing good can happen with AB on a roster this year.
AB needs some help diagnosing whatever mental problem he has. We didn't hear much of anything negative about him his first 5 or 6 years in Pittsburg, so what snapped in his brain that has cuased this downward spiral?
Big contracts, several big seasons that led to him being considered among the best WRs in the game (which inflated his ego), the Steelers covering all of his mishaps (as much as they could) for several seasons, media that catered to him because he's always a great story (for good or bad)...
I mean, it was always there. All of the above just helped to bring it up to the surface.
