When I came to the website today and I clicked on forum I was logged out. And every time I log back in, I immediately get logged out when the page redirects to the forum. And any link I click on gets me logged out after I log back in. It really sucks because I can't post or see new posts.

I'm on my wife's lap top right now.

    Any help is appreciated.

OK, first question... are you coming directly to goldenstatewarriors-rt.com or going to the old URL and being redirected?

Then the obvious question of whether you are clicking the "remember me" when logging on?

Also I may have a cookie issue. I did not change the unique id of the cookie passed to your computers. Perhaps it is conflicting with the cookie already there. Easy fix if indeed that is the issue. This may force everyone to log in again unfortunately.

I need to take the board down really quick to do it. Doing it now

It worked. I can stay logged in now and I'm back on my own computer.

    Thanks bada.

Well now my problem is that if I leave the site and come back then I get logged out and have to log back in each time.

I clicked the "remember me" box but I keep getting logged out every time I leave the site. I stayed logged in when jumping around the site so that's not a problem. It's only when I leave and come back that I have to log back in.

hmm, that is not happening to me. How are you accessing the site? Through an old bookmark? Typing in the new URL in a browser? Using a new bookmark to the new URL?

Oh, forgot... which browser are you on. Internet Explorer? If so, lets try clearing your browser cache by doing this:

With your browswer open, click Tools>Internet Options

On the General Tab, click Delete in the Browsing History Section and make sure that Cookies and Temporary Internet Files is checked then click "Delete". Once it is done deleting, close your browser and re-open and navigate to this site. You will need to log in again (dont forget the remember me) but it should now load the new cookie on your machine (provided you are allowing cookies) and should be fine from then on.

EDIT: Just got your message so ignore this unless you have issues with it again. Glad you are set now.

FYI: This was happening to me as well - and deleting the cookies did help. But you dont have to delete ALL your cookies - just ones for this website. To do that in FF you go to Tools>Options>Privacy>Show Cookies. Then search for this website and Remove those. I had about 8 cookies to remove.
