That's a bad break.. however, if JPP is the key to your season at this stage in his career.. you should have already picked a new team... hey, why not stay in the bay area and adopt the Niners?

With the "luck" TMC brings to a team, I am supportive of the Niner's being his choice. ;)

    Tell that to JPP...

Ok, ok, that was in poor taste. But Bada's right, I'm a curse magnet. Are you sure you don't want me to root for the Seahawks? Like, for the next 25 years?:p

Come on, Rob, don't be like that. I'm offering my services as a curse monger, and there's nobody like me.

Do you know which one was my second team in the NBA? The team I always rooted for except when they were playing the Dubs? The Sonics, and they do not exist anymore!!!

I became a Bucs fan in the late days of Tony Dungy's tenure, won a SB with Gruden and went straight to becoming an afterthought in the NFL.

Need more proof of my powers?

So I can GUARANTEE that the Seahawks won't sniff the playoffs in 25 years if I adopt them as my second NFL team. I guess that has to be enticing for a Niners fan...

    :D:cool::p

The curse is on, alive and better than ever. Today it's been confirmed that one of our better young LBs, Kendall Beckwith, is going to miss the season. It's his second consecutive season missed and seems like his ankle injury can end his career after playing just his rookie year.

    It's the Bucs way...

Well, Gerald McCoy is no longer a Buc. He's been released by the team and will now get to choose his next stop.

It's a shame that our most visible player in the last decade (not best, that'd be Lavonte David, but nobody pays any attention to David's game, so...) hasn't played a single playoff game. Hope he goes to a contender to end his career and has success there.

As for the Bucs, the team needed the money to sign our rookie class, and GMC was going to make $13 million, non-guaranteed. While still effective, that was way too much money for the production he offers at this point. I get the move from that point of view. Although I would have cut other guys, Gholston and a couple more rotation guys, and that would have been enough. While overpaid, GMC still is a better player than most of the guys on our D-Line. And with no JPP, I don't know who the f*ck is going to put pressure on opposing QBs.

As a side note, the team tried to trade him and tipped their hand from the very first day. Everybody knew he was going to be cut if they didn't find someone to trade him to. Cleveland asked around, but that's about it. When everybody knows a guy is going to be cut, there's no incentive to trade a pick for him. Litch f*cked up, again, with that one.

LMAO! Don't you live in Spain? Pick a new team man, you've suffered more than enough. Nobody deserves to be a Bucs fan.

Been thinking about it, but so far I'm retarded enough to stick with the team I've rooted for my whole life.

    Also, wait for the best...

We're finalizing a one-year deal with Ndamukong Suh. I just don't know how much better he is over GMC. I think he's going to help, but Suh played his best in the playoffs last season, and he did it alongside Aaron Donald. That's certainly not the situation he's going to find in the Bucs.

But he's still a dominant player when he wants to play (yeah...), so it might be an improvement over GMC. Better against the run and he's usually more reliable, because GMC has missed lots of games with injuries and Suh has stayed healthy for most of his career.

Problem is, it's just that for a one-year deal and for a team that's rebuilding (since 2011), I don't know why the heck he's signing with us.

Well, for a lot of money, of course, because the amount I'm hearing is around $10 millions... But I just wonder about Suh's commitment. If we get the Suh that played for Detroit and for the Rams in the playoffs, it's a great deal. If we get the Rams regular season Suh or the Miami Suh, we're getting a malcontent guy that's just signing another big one-year deal.

I particularly don't like what I'm hearing about him wanting to go back to Florida because there's no state tax... not something you want to hear regarding any big signing your team makes.

Oh, well... one day we'll be back to respectability. Not sure I'll see it, tho...

GMC is a class act. The day after he gets cut, he posts a video saying that he loved his time in Tampa, he's going to try to win a ring and, once his career is over, he can't wait to be back to Tampa and sign a one-day contract with the Bucs in order to retire a Buc.

Loved him as a locker room presence and was very good for a long time. His numbers would have been even better if he had had a bit more luck with injuries. And he's one of the best persons to ever wear a Bucs jersey. Good riddance and best of luck!!! He'll be in the Bucs ring of honor soon once he retires.

Well, if there was one thing (and one thing only) GMC could do to lose idol status among Bucs fans overnight, that's signing with the Panthers. And that's exactly what he did.

    F*ck you very much, Gerald.

According to reports, it was done in purpose because the Bucs gave his old number to Suh and he wants some sort of revenge. He even told people that he was going to sign with the Ravens before that. He even texted a few Bucs beat writers about it as soon as he signed with Carolina, for f*cks sake...

So yes, he's free to sign wherever he wants. Also, we're free to hate his guts for signing with the one team Bucs fans really despise in the whole f*cking league.

There are two strong rivalries in the NFC South. The Saints and Falcons have a strong one between them. And we (should, because we consistently suck) have a really strong one with Carolina. Any games between those teams are different and sweeping your rival is the main objective of the season, from the fans point of view. So it's only natural he's gonna catch some heat for signing with the Panthers.

I just think its funny when fans get like that over a player.. like he owed it to them to go to anybody but their hated rival. If he was a shitty player, they'd be disrespecting him like crazy. They don't know him, but they act like he's their friend or something.
