Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ lol their startin 5 actually looks better than ours
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ Considering they have Ridnour and Darko starting, that doesn't say much about our own guys...
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ Based on records alone we should obviously win this game. Will we win it? I'm not sure, but like almost every team in the league the T Wolves starting 5 has more upside than ours. I will not waste any of my time watching this game.
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ I'll try to watch it. I want to see how Lee matches up against Love. As for a position vs. position comparison of the two teams... Warriors Win at 1, 2, 3 Wolves win at 4, 5 btw, has anybody noticed that Wesley Johnson is playing at the 2. I think it was all the way back during the TOS days, but I was convinced the Warriors should have tried to trade up to get W. Johnson, trade Monta and play Johnson at the 2. Everyone told me he wasn't cut out to play the 2... :neener: I would make the following trade if at all possible (warning: I'm not considering cap space in anyway) ... Wolves give: Love + W. Johnson Warriors give: Lee + Monta + Udoh + every draft pick we can possibly offer + cash + Bada's passion for Horford + anything else we can think of Our starting lineup.... PG - Curry 6'3" (amazing 3 point shooter, floor general) SG - W. Johnson 6'7" (good 3 point shooter and getting better, excellent defender) SF - D. Wright 6'9" (excellent 3 point shooter, good defender, good rebounder) PF - Love 6'10" (best 3 point shooting big, excellent rebounder) C - to be determined... move as much space as possible to acquire a great defensive center. Maybe keep Udoh... OK I'm daydreaming. LET ME! It's all I have this season
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ I'm not so sure Warriors win at 3 right now. Super cool Beas is having a great year and dorell has been bringing the suck of late
We suck at rebounding. 58% shooting and up by 4 at half. Yeah we are winning but our defense sucks and we will not out rebound this team. Better stay hot or this game may get away from us.
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ Love had 20/10 at the half and Steph is our leading rebounder lol
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ I saw the 4th quarter of this game and what a joke!!! A nice comeback by the Warriors but still a loss to a shit team. Dorell Wright cost us this game in my opinion. He missed 5 or 6 straight shots in the last 5 minutes of the game including an air ball. And WTF is wrong with coach Smart? Everyone in the building knew Monta was going to take that shot at the end and 4 guy's were on him in the key when his winning shot attempt was stuffed...how about another option in case Monta get triple teamed like he did???
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ Hmm, Kevin Love only had 37... yeah Keith, don't worry about playing Udoh barely at all or Adrien not at all. Keep telling us how defense if your #1 priority but yet your defenders stay glued to the bench while Vlad Rad plays most of the bench big minutes. f'ing fire this guy FAST!!!!
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ Udoh was terrible tonight mind you. Seemed to foul people every time he went near them
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ Smart is a joke! Terrible coaching as usual, that play he ran for Ellis at the end was horrible. Run the clock down to 6 seconds and have a 6'3" guard take the ball to the hole where the 6' 10" monsters destroyed him, with no chance for a rebound or a second option. Exactly the kind of play Nellie would've called. He shoulda started earlier and kicked the ball out to Steph who could've had a wide open shot for the win. A real coach would've been so disgusted with the big guy's efforts after the 3rd quarter that he would've benched the starters and put Udoh and Adrien in to see if they could play like men, unlike the pussies they have playing now. There was a pole in the Oakland Tribune asking if the Warriors should keep coach Smart and like over 60% said we should keep him as coach next season...proof that the average fan in the Bay area seems content with this shitty team that lacks any toughness whatsoever. They seem to think it's ok to play no defense as long as the game is exciting and comes down the the end. Fcuk that...I want a real basketball team.
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ is that for real madballers... 60%??? wow. what a lucky guy Lacob is to have fans like this that just settle for mediocrity.
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ I'm so tired of watching Smart fuck with the rotations... at one point it was, I can't remember.. like four guards and Lee... we have a problem with rebounding so he goes small... maybe it was: monta, steph, reggie, Wright, and Lee... wtf is that? 90% offense, 10% defense... bullshit. we can't protect a lead to save our life.
Re: Game Thread - Warriors (26-31) @ Wolves (13-46) - 02/27/ I cannot find it online but I have it right in front of me. The Oakland Tribune Sports page from Friday 2/25/11 on the second page. Can anyone find the link online? A sample of 677 fans voted 78% that Smart should keep his job. I am not joking here. 531 people said yes and only 22% said no. This is a big reason why Lacob paid so much for the Warriors and it's time we faced it.
