Just curious what people would do as Bob Myers right now

Obvious hole on the bench. What would you do to plug it up?

Go for a free agent or a trade... Whatever

Most interesting one I've heard Luke ridionour for a trade exemption and maybe NN. bucks have 3 SGs and 3 PGs if I remember correctly. Could probably let one go without too much hassle. Thoughts or solutions welcome

I wouldn't touch a thing. If anything, bring a free agent backup or from the NBDL, but do not trade for one. We can't afford to add even more salary.

We gotta upgrade our bench, but there is no one any other team would want outside our main 7 in rotation (Curry-Klay-Andre-Lee-Bogut-Barnes-Green). No one wants Speights with the way he is playing now, and the rest of our team is out of D-League or rookie.

There is, however, a case to be made that once Festus Ezeli returns life will be much much better for our team (specifically backups).

I'd sign Dedmond for the rest of the year. There, I said it. He can help us a lot more than Kuzmic, particularly now that JO is out.

I'd look into bringing in Richard Hamilton and/or Rodrigue Beaubois and/or Terrence Williams … (not saying I would sign but I'd look into it)

Rip is retired, I believe. If he's not, he plays like he's retired.

Roddy is intriguing, but that kid never panned out for Dallas. They waited forever on him to develop.

Wish the Warriors looked at Kendall Marshall. He has no shot, but he could at least run an offense decently.

In other news, Rockets are looking to trade Montejusdfjaskdlfwjias. Worth a look?

Meh. His game is pretty similar to Speights.

just the level headed guy we need to lead our young bench. ha that would be funny if we did it before the next clipper game. you see him jump off that bench to try and start some shit last meeting???

    yeah Rip is RIP

Roddy I like as well. isn't he playing overseas right now though? whoever they move, it needs to be a significant upgrade otherwise, it's not worth messing with the chemistry.

    D. Dedmon isn't a big enough upgrade over Kusmic even if you just add him. Also with Beastus coming back, I think you get a huge upgrade over any front court player currently jumping off the bench (defensively that is). I'm really intrigued to see what SPeights and FE can do off the bench. everyone knows what happens when Bogut is sitting (and Green isn't having a monster D game).

With Festus back and Speights not going anywhere anytime soon, Barnes will be chilling at SF. That basically means we gotta upgrade our guards (Douglas/Nedovic/Bazemore). Kuzmic is too raw for major minutes here, let him go up and down with the D-League. Guardwise we have options of Andre Miller (my fav) and Kirk Hinrich (ehhh).

100% agreed. Andre Miller is what we need... if we need anything. It's looking like we don't need much of a fix atm.

Yeah, but Kuzmic needs minutes, plenty of, and he can get them in the NBDL. Dedmon would be a small upgrade and Kuzmic would improve as well being demoted to the Santa Cruz Warriors. And Dedmon could help a little bit until Festus and (if) JO are back.

We could use a better playmaker than Douglas at backup PG, but that's all we should consider in terms of new people. And only for the right deal, which won't be easy due to our lack of tradable assets/need to avoid paying the luxury tax.

Was thinking about this one too although it'd probably not be a big enough upgrade over TD to justify going into the tax... Unless maybe they swap TD and a trade exemption

I'd rather have professor Miller than Hinrich, to be honest.

That'll pretty much guarantee we don't go farther than the 2nd round, if that.

We have multiple TPE's. Use them. They should target Jameer Nelson and Andre Miller.

DUBS... I think you might be making a little too much out of this. If we don't change anything, that in no way guarantees that we don't go farther than the 2nd round. Take a deep breath, relax, and know that every team in the NBA has issues. Not having a great bench is an issue but it is a GIANT issue.

The bench should have Festus and O'neil eventually, which will help, Barnes is still trying to find his place coming off the bench, and the rest of the guys are still trying to gel. Hell, I think our starting 5 are still learning to gel.
