Before anybody makes a comment about the putrid performance of the Cards... let's just remember I picked up their D this week, and that usually means a death grip for that team. ;)

Oh, don't worry. You still have A LOT to learn to reach my accuracy level. I also told XBay to NOT play Alfred Morris...

As did I, as well as playing Rudolph over Moore...............Kyle had 8 yards total, Moore has 63 with nearly a half to go.

It's all right, my opponent put up 141 points on me. He has Aaron Rodgers and the 49ers D. And besides, it was me debating between McGahee and Morris, not McFadden and Morris. I hate you, DMC. I start you and you give me nothing. I sit you and you show up (to be fair, he only had all those points vs PIT because of that long TD run).

Anyways, I did the math and had I started Moore and Morris over Rudolph and DMC, I would only be down about 10 points with Brandon Marshall left for tomorrow. Eh, at least this wasn't a playoff game. Still 9 weeks to go. I'll be 3-1.

My main mistake in fantasy football this week? Playing 2 opponents in my money leagues, with Roddy White on the roster... Both are PPR leagues with 10 point bonus for 150 yards receiving.... That came out to a nearly 50 point performance against me...I still have a shot in one of the leagues... but i'm toast in the other.

Same here man, 2 leagues facing Roddy, both PPR and one has bonus points for 40+ yard plays and TD's..............got crushed in both (One of them had Brady as well, those 2 alone made up for 75% of his points).

Cannot believe Ive woken up to a loss against Bada too...............F*cking 2 yards for Bennett! I had no other option at TE but man, he gets 25 yards and nothing else (which still would be a crappy day) and I win.

3 out of 4 teams lose this week for the first time...............doesnt feel good.

Gotta admit that, for once, I'm happy. I've not only won, but my RBs and defense FINALLY added something. So far, I was surviving almost by QB and WR points... Feels nice to be able to surpass the 100 points mark and have some production from the most important position in football.

I'm also happy my two bets for this week worked out alright. Denarious Moore over Floyd gave me five more points, while playing Andy Dalton over Eli got me 3 more points. Not much, but it feels nice to be right about something.

With that said, every single bet I made this week panned out. Kinda scary for next week, considering my record...

NICE!!! Needed that win... was a nail biter last night.... we were virtually tied with under 2 min left and then on 3rd down Vick rolled out and instead of throwing it away, he correctly just sat down to keep the clock running which counted as a sack for my Giants D and gave me the 2 pt difference. But still, I had to sweat out Giants getting the ball back with Bennett. Luckily the Eagles have been the 2nd best in the league against the TE coming into this week.

Two weeks in a row I could have won my games... IF I JUST PICKED THE CORRECT FUCKING DEFENSE :bang :bang :bang

Damn you Seahawk D! Letting the Rams score on you like that?!?

I'm not conceding my defense draft a failed experiment yet. Mental notes...
    - Start the Bears defense often.
    - Start the Niners D against teams that like to run.
    - Only start the Seachickens when they play at home.
    - Probably going to kick the Lions D to the curb... thinking about trading Megatron as well...

    FUCK YOU MADDEN CURSE!!!

I think you are starting to see what I was saying in the draft thread... defensive performance is SO random because it is based so heavily on turnovers and defensive TD's... those are just not predictable. Happens every year. And having multiple defenses creates the opportunity for you to miss the good games which is what is occuring for you.

In 4 weeks, your total points from defense is 29

Had you just stuck with your first drafted defense (SF), you would have scored 56 points on the year
Had you just stuck with the Bears defense, you would have scored 67pts PLUS whatever they score tonight
Had you just stuck with the Seahawks defense, you would have scored 57 pts

BUT... it's early in the season yet Bada. I've had very good success rotating defenses in the past, but those defenses were picked up midseason. It's fairly clear by then what offenses suck and what defenses rule.

At this point I think my prognostications on what defenses rule has been accurate. My guesses on what offenses suck has been a little off.

Yup, that was exactly my point during the draft... 4 of the top 10 defenses were not even drafted. Rotating defenses is not a bad strategy, my point is you did not have to waste draft capital to do so. You still could have done the same exact thing without drafting 4 defenses.

I know nobody remembers me saying that this was an experiment on my part, everyone was too busy ripping me at the time. Anyway, the experiment isn't over, and I did consider that I was likely to hit a rough patch doing this early on.

I wouldn't have been able to grab the Niners/Bears/Seahawks if I hadn't done it a little early, and my running back situation is only bad due to injuries, not depth imo.

Im so sick of fantasy football, second week in a row I lost with the 2nd highest point total of the week. My + - is +65 and my record is 1-3.

OUCH!!! I feel for you man. There is so much more luck involved than most people think. The "luck" of scheduling is absolutely HUGE.

I think the problem with your running backs is you had chance to get better value, and ended up with Martin and Bush, who would need to perform at the top end of their capabilities in order to justify your strategy. It started to look promising, but overall, i think it is depth that is hurting you there. If you had one other good running back, you wouldn't have to throw out Martin and Bush, but could maybe choose between them.

With the defense thing, we were scratching our heads because we knew that this result could happen. You would basically have a good chance to start a defense that doesn't perform well compared to another defense that you have. It gives you options, enough to where you may out think yourself.

Guess it can't be seen as a mistake, as he's a top 2 player his position... but 0.40 points from Jimmy Graham???? Seriously??? I know he got injured, but he came back, so I guess it wasn't too serious... In any case, almost cost me the win vs Bigs, as the Saints went with Colston all the way.

Not a mistake that I made, more of a rant.... 2nd week in a row i go up against a team with 50 point receiver in my company league... not only that, the two receivers combined for 90 points... Fuck this PPR scoring with 150 yard bonus!!!!!!!!!! lol there is my rant.
