Right, this thread might just be for me every week, lol..............but I thought we should have a place to come and put a friendly arm around each others shoulder and say "It's ok.........its OK, it happens to us all..........see!". ;)

So, I shall start us off:

    League 1:

Swapped out Ridley (152 TY and a score) for DeAngelo (4 TY......) about 5 minutes before the Pats game started - Point difference = 20.8

    League 3:

Swapped out AP (87 TY and 2 scores) for Trent Richardson (44 TY) on Friday and stuck too it - Point difference = 17 (no fractional points in this league, which pissed me off).

Was going to swap my Seahawks D for the Jets, actually made and unmade the move twice but just couldnt settle - Point Difference = 18.

So come now, admit your mistakes that may or may not have cost you (league 3 has cost me, especially annoying cuz the other guy was talking all kinds of trash)...............and feel better and safe in the knowledge that it happens to all of us.

Spent all week deciding between Trent Richardson, DeAngelo Williams, Ben Tate and Ridley for my second RB spot. Of course, I decided to play DeAngelo...

Also was convinced I didn't need a second defense, as the Bills were playing the worst offense in football...

And I'm still undecided between Malcolm Floyd and Heyward-Bey for tonight's game. Expect the one I don't start to have a career game and the other to leave injured after his second 2-yards reception.

Luckily i didn't have any major mistakes. My trade for Matt Ryan worked out beatifully, as did my trade in my other league (kevin smith got me good points).

The only mistake i had was starting Fred Jackson this week in our league. I thought about throwing MJD in there regardless of how much he'd play but decided against it and that one hurt.

Rough man, rough................one of my leagues I had Richardson, Stewart and AP..........so was worrying all week, ended up going with Richardson and picked up Ronnie Brown for tonight but I am sure he wont win the match up, as I need 25 points from him.

The DeAngelo one for me was a killer too, especially as Ridley so well and would have won the match up for me if I hadnt made that switch.

Is out league your only one bro?

Yeah, nothing you could have done about that man...............first qtr/half injuries to RB's are killer, I should know, if you remember, it happened to me 7 out of 8 weeks last year in our league, including 6 in a row!  :bang

Anyway, hells yeah that Ryan trade did the business.............shame mine isnt taking effect until next week, as the difference between his and Eli's performance would have won me that match up.

Looks like I am up for 2 wins and 2 loses in opening week.............good thing is, one team that lost is getting Ryan and hopefully Matthews next week, and the other I shall be getting AP in fully and Richardson should be getting more run.

So I am pretty happy with my 4 teams.

Yep. Considering my transfer and that I'll rely on my phone for a while (hope not more than a couple of weeks) to set up my lineups and follow the league, I thought one was enough. I'll join our bball fantasy league as well, but that's gonna be it for this year.

Hope to be able to join more next year, maybe even have one on the NFL.com fantasy engine, as I've heard is much better than Yahoo, but haven't had time to check it yet.

My RBs so far have scored me shit in both of my leagues. I thought for sure when the Texans were blowing out the Phins that Tate would get some run. The biggest lineup mistake I made was starting Vick over RGIII. I still have a shot to win both leagues, I need 10 from Torrey Smith in one and 35 from Kaeding, Rivers and DMC in the other.

Didn't think AP was going to play, started Roy Helu instead...something like a 17 point swing there.

Started some guy named Aaron Rodgers over the Golden Boy. BIG MISTAKE! 10ish point swing there.

In spite of these two mistakes I still hold around a 50 point lead. (Sorry, TMC)

No mistakes. All I know is that I'm in trouble at RB in my other league. McFadden/McGahee/DeAngelo/Helu are my RBs. :(

And, of course, I settle for Heayward-Bey and Floyd ends up with 20 more yards and a TD. I told you so...

Starting Vick over RGIII cost me my game. Smith looked like he was on the way to a huge game, but only got 3 touches and i lost by 3 pts

Well, playing Fred Jackson hurt me against Xbay but that wasn't really a bad decision in my eyes.

Luckily, i won my two money league games. One of them, i'm waiting for the stat corrections to come in as i won by less then a point. The other matchup, i dominated, but it was scary. I was up by 36 and my opponent had Gates and Ray Rice going in a PPR league. I had Nate Kaeding... and well, Kaeding got me a 20 point victory :)

I did not really make too many mistakes but lost in 3 of my 4 leagues as I ran into buzzsaws! My opponents in all leagues put up monster weeks.

Dont know why but that made me chuckle...............not that its not true of course.

Question Bada: Pre-week 1 games starting, would you have started DeAngelo against the Bucs over Ridley against the Titans? and our D against Zona over the Jets against Buffalo?

Just wanted to see where my mistakes rank in a FF jedi masters world. ;)

I would have started DeAngelo and Seattle D.

With Jonathan Stewart hurt, I would have thought DeAngelo could have a nice game. With the Patriots you never know when they will completely abandon the run or with how they would distribute the carries.

While the Jets have a very nice defense, I would have thought the Seahawks defense would have fared better fantasy wise vs Skelton. But then again, they are much better at home. Tough choice but I would have gone Seattle.

Yeah, so my 7 year old kicked my ass this week! Grr! And he legitimately drafted his own team. I just gave him a cheatsheet of the rankings of Footballguys.com. He put up like 140pts this week. Funny because my 11 year old REALLY wanted Cam Newton.... he is a huge fan. But my niece wanted Cam badly because she thinks he is hot. So before the draft they were fighting on who will get him. Then we drew the order and my 7 year old got the first pick... so what did he do? Picked Cam just to spite them. LOL. They were pissed!

But then later in the draft he took Matt Ryan. And when he filled out his starting lineup he went Ryan. I said, "Over the guy you took #1 overall?". He said "Yup, I took him to make Jake and Kayla mad". LOL. Brilliant choice too as Ryan piled up the points. Bastard!

Oh and by the way, the dog beat my wife! HA HA HA

God damn it..............1 game into week 2 and I already feel like I made a big error...............I went backwards and forwards over starting the Packers D but after their "performance" last week, just couldnt.

7 sacks, 4 INT's and 31 fantasy points later in our league...............I am already regretting it no matter what happens with the D I play. :bang

Starting Alshon Jeffery was one :). I was concerned about Maclin... and Denarius Moore, so i took a shot with Jeffery. Nice .7 points rook.

btw Bigs, this was the one week on my Defense rotation that I wasn't sure who to start. I'm not sold on the Niners D putting up big fantasy numbers this week. I do think the Niners will win the game however.
