    Subject: 11/20/19 vs Dallas

End of first quarter. 44–16 Dallas.

    The tank continues.

Lots of slumped shoulders out there.
No Draymond tonight. 2nd of a back to back.
Scheduled loss. But man, keep your heads up fellas. Keep competing.
I watched about four minutes of WCS running around just phoning it in. Zero energy and effort. He pissed me off.
Let’s see how he does in the 2nd quarter.

This a Bowman/Paschall kind of game.

If he can stay on the court.

    Paschanimal. Ha!

The Paschalization of the Dubs keeps going on strong!

A few considerations about the game (or, more like, about the start of the season):

    - I totally despise Poole's game. I just can't stand him on the court.

    - Alec Burks can be a valuable trade chip for us. Won't get us much, but he can score, and that's something plenty of teams will be looking for to bolster their bench for a playoff run. Might gets us a second rounder, or a couple if we can get two teams into a bidding war.

    - I like Chriss. I didn't think I'd like him much, but I do. On the other side, I understand why Atlanta gave up on Spellman so soon. I'd rather have Chriss for the future.

    - WCS is not even trying. Can't blame him with our current state, but come on, at least pretend to care.

    - Bowman is good. Can be a pretty decent backup PG for a good team. And he's earning himself some nice money for his next contract.

    - Can't wait to see Smailagic on the court. That kid has, allegedly (I haven't been able to watch him play much, just a few highlights vids), a lot of skill and raw potential and the current Warriors are a low-pressure environment to ease him into the NBA game, so I'm definitely intrigued. I've read they don't have a timetable yet for his debut, but it's getting closer.

Also, Luka Doncic is f*cking amazing. And what makes it worse is that every scout in the world knew it and Dallas still found a way to steal him. Phoenix, Sacramento and Atlanta should all be ashamed (and they all got good players in that draft, particularly Atlanta with Trae Young, but they still found a way to ruin the draft for them).

Willie’s knock in Sac was his lack of a motor. So far, he hasn’t shed that stigma. But I’ll give him a pass for now only because he did not have a training camp or preseason.

Ky Bowman... I’m gonna keep saying it. They need to keep him past this season. He has shown he can do it all; and if he can continue to develop that 3-point shot, he’d add value at that backup PG spot.

Just a shame that Jacob Evans got hurt and will still be out for at least another two weeks. He was knocking down his threes and playing some decent defense to start the season. He’d be the first backup PG option right now with Curry out which would’ve given us all a good look at what he can truly give.

Also, in honor of avoiding a 50-point rout, I think it’s only right to post one of the greatest Warriors commercials of all time.

Yup! This is what his game was at Michigan. Can't pass, can't play D, can't create for himself, can't knock down an option shot. But hey, the guy "is not afraid to shoot"!!! Hoping we can include him in any sort of future trade. Can't stand this guy.

Now I will admit, I have not watched one minute of Warrior's regular season basketball this year but from what I am reading it seems just like when watching him at Michigan. For some reason he can make some difficult shots, but open shots he bricks. Sounds and looks like he can't make any shots. That will probably turn around at some point (although never at a high %) but you will still be left with a guy who plays no d, can't create, and cant pass.

Poole and WCS need to go. They are complete shit out there. At the very least we need players that want to compete.
Poole has gotten a few hustle balls and steals, but until he shows me a 'deeper' skill set, he doesn't belong in the league.

With the season being "done" due to injuries, we essentially have an 82 game tryout for who will be our bench next season.
Who wants to build and grow and think big picture..
I think we have a few pieces identified..

I’d give Poole more patience. He was the 27th pick and thrusted in a much larger role than anticipated. At least with Evans they were able to slow bring him in because there was no playing time available. Paschall was always going to be the most NBA ready.

    11/25/2019 vs OKC

Man, the Baby Dubs almost pulled this one off. They were pretty much dominating most of the game and then just sort of gave it away as OKC tightened their defensive screws in the fourth quarter and the Dublets didn't have a go to guy to help finish it off. Good games from Spellman and Bowman continues to grow. Paschall continues to prove his NBA readiness but got into some foul trouble. Finally got a decent shooting night from Poole, maybe a little patience is all he needs.

Got some solid game experience and continued the tank... win win... from a loss... lol

3-13 is not a good shooting night. It's kinda awful. He was 2-5 in 3 point shots, but that only means he was 1-8 everywhere else...

Nice hustle game from WCS vs the Heat.
Didn't expect to see that. And some good shooting for 3 from Poole.
Keep hustling WCS, just not too much, keep the tank alive

And it was nice to see Evans get minutes. I still have hope he can develop into a nice bench player. Also, the more he plays, the less minutes available for Poole... It's a win-win!

Poole’s going to be Santa Cruz bound regardless. The team has said that was the plan all along and with Evans and Lee returning, he’ll be there soon. He can get more run there and find his shot again.

And with Ky Bowman down to 13 days left of eligibility with Golden State, they’re going to be strategic about how to stretch those final days starting tonight when he made his G League debut instead of traveling to Utah. Good news for Evans as he is going to get a good long look at those backup PG minutes.

I’m rooting for Evans. I know Iguodala’s a fan of his, too. He said last year not to sleep on Jacob’s defensive and ball handling skills.

Evans is good. He's just taking some time to get used to the NBA speed, but I think he has a chance to be a contributor. He's smart and tough, and if he starts making his shots, he's going to be an important piece coming from the bench. Scoring won't be his primary skill, he just has to stop being a liability there and hit some open shots. He's got plenty of other skills to get playing time.
