I have no clue there.. maybe he was hoping he'd be off and they could get out in transition? or maybe they felt that switching a big onto him will allow a lot of really easy buckets, like the dunks and layups we saw against Houston. But if Curry is that wide open, that's like a layup to him.

one thing i think will remain is the defensive effort on the backcourt. Anytime Dame thought he had daylight, there was another mobile defender on him. Then, McCollum had trouble getting his shot up over Klay. It was a good effort, even though the Warriors let them hang around.

It was good to see that bench unit eat up some minutes and produce. Nice shooting from Cook and some good minutes from Jerebko and Bell. Don't even need to mention Looney anymore, he is a constant contributor.

Only thing I can think of is he looked at his numbers and shooting percentages before the second half of game 6 vs the Rockets and thought he would regress back..

Really interested in seeing what Portland will do as an adjustment in G2. And how we counteract it. Long way to go still in this series.

Paul Pierce, Chauncey Billups, Jalen Rose and some blond chick doing commentary. Booooring... and awkward. I don't think they like each other.

Every playoff game should have Shaq, Barkley etc.

Going to need the Blazers to miss a few shots.... And our guys need to start hitting...

lots of good D... a few sloppy turnovers.. but we aren't playing that bad... just need to make their 3pt shooters uncomfortable.
And we need to start hitting!!!!!

3rd quarter turnaround! rally Splash bros rally!!

Haven't been able to watch this one yet, I'll do it later. But thank god we're going 2-0 to Portland, because KD has been ruled out for at least another week.

    Nice!!!

My jaw is on the ground after watching that performance by Draymond. He simply is the greatest defender I have ever seen. He was involved in pretty much everything. One of the best games of his career.

    And wow... Looney was amazing!

There was one play in the 4th where Dray's man was in the corner 3 area. Ball was on his side and he was close enough to his man to dissuade a pass to the corner. they quickly rotated the ball to the opposite wing who drove and beat his man. Dray came from the opposite corner, met the driver on the opposite side of the FT line, stopped the drive, blocked the shot, and tipped the ball on the way down right to Igoudala to ignite a break. Just a draw dropping play.

Maybe this wasn't his greatest game ever (recency bias is playing a role here) but his play on both ends in the final 7 minutes of the game was as smart and dominant as I have seen from him.

Snippets from an article today in The Athletic about whether Green might be the greatest defender ever

There are times when Dray gets so locked in defensive mode and is so good, it's almost like the Warriors have 6 defensive players on the court.

Even first quarter play by Dray made it clear that he came to play last night. We were down, but I wasn't worried because of everyone's intensity and body language.
Draymond is so much fun to watch on D. I like the leaner Dray, he can leap high for a block and take it coast to coast. So springy out there!
