Draymond has been the heart and soul of the team for a while. So our emotion kind of lives or dies with his behavior. Obviously you cant replace what KD does. And in many of the games , it makes you think of what situation wed be in if KD wasnt there to bail us out. But at the same time, how bad would this defense be if draymond wasn't running it. How would our offense suffer if we didnt have our power forward running the break, getting early offense opportunities. The things draymond does are just not as obvious. Cant say i want one over the other.. just kinda wish wed have a couple more years at least of this team.

All is great. Thanks guys. Hope you guys are all well.

I remember when flopping was a defensive issue. And I’m just amazed at how Harden and Paul have managed to implement the “flop” into their offensive game... but now with their threes! Curry does it, too. The difference is that when he does it, he tends to remain on his feet. Harden & Paul end up on the ground, which if they miss, they hurt their team defensively allowing the Warriors to run the break 4-on-5.

We’ll see how they adjust in Game 2 because I’m not positive we’ll see another heavy turnover performance from the Dubs.

I fucking hate the rockets...I want to punch the beard in the face every time I see him!!!

And their obnoxious smug coach as well. He was bitching that the refs missed 4 fouls on missed 3 pointers, saying they should have had 12 more foul shots which would have won the game for them
    ...Jesus what an Asshole!

Dubs probably won’t get that lenient of a whistle around the 3pt line and should be careful. Refs will be watching for it.

Given this teams track record, I’m a bit concerned about an “ease up” performance from them. Lets hope starting Andre has woken up the starters a bit. Its go time!!

Yes, going to be really interesting to see how this game is refereed. All this incessant complaining from the Rockets is so ridiculous. Might be my least favorite team of all time.

ha ha ha.... Scott Foster assigned to the game tonight... Rocket's fans having a meltdown. Another example to them how the league is against them and wants the Warriors to win. Rockets have a long running feud with Foster. Not like the Warriors like him either.

They are just full of excuses for why they keep losing to the Warriors. A win tonight would be huge! It would just magnify the doubts Houston has about taking the Dubs down.

I want to see some fire and some execution. I'd hate to go through all this and see the team lay another home dud.. then we would have to hear how the Warriors only win when they get the whistle, which is absurd.

too much.. im also seeing some details on how the Rockets determined the number of points they lost due to officiating. Which included "Possible" infractions, and applied number of points based on a free throw percentage. Another "possible" infraction that denied Houston a shot, so the shooting percentage of Houston was applied to that possession to determine points lost.

such BS that double tech! hope that gets recinded

Kerr, PLEASE get Livingston out of the game. He just kills our offense... they don't have to defend him and it just kills our spacing.

Huge win today! Going to Houston 2-0 changes everything, because if we manage to win a game there, the series will be almost over.

Also, I've only been able to watch the last quarter of this game (and the full game 1), but this team looks completely different, more focused and playing much better defense. If we can play at this level, with KD as unstoppable as he's looked in the last few games, there's nobody that can stop this team.

As long as they play that sort of defense, I completely agree TMC... we are unstoppable. Defense won us that game.

Durant, Dray, and Igoudala were just INCREDIBLE on defense last night.

Klay was big as well. I like that play where he was playing free safety on that Capela lob.

I realize I am higher on him than most around here but I just have to say that watching Draymond Green play defense, is one of the most enjoyable things I have ever experienced watching the game of basketball. I find lately that I almost never follow the ball, but instead just watch Draymond. I have never seen a smarter and more communicative defender. He is as dominant of a defender as I have seen without having that come from exceptional athletic gifts or size. His defense is like an art form for me. He impacts the other 4 so greatly... his impact is so great it is impossible to quantify.

Much like how Curry's range, changed the way defenses had to play us without it showing up in the box score. Also, his passing ability (still forces a few stupid passes) is remarkable.

I think in the last couple of weeks, Draymond is playing the best ball of his career. Have to admit, that I enjoyed him not complaining nearly as much. That is the only part of his "game" that I don't enjoy. Last night he was just locked in and the rest of the defense fell in line. That felt like the defense we played at our peak.

Draymond played like sh*t at the start of the season.

But I agree, right now he's playing amazing defense, and great basketball overall. Also not shooting as often as he did in some of our previous playoff runs, which helps. He's saving the best for when it matters. ;)

but he is getting some buckets in creative ways. He shoots when he's open, in rhythm, but i've seen more mid range and drives to the basket. He's been exceptional. His decision making when going to the rim is impeccable. The guy can finish, but is able to get the lob up at the perfect time. I loved that dunk he got , where Paul threw a bitch fit when he was hanging on the rim.
