I hope the Heat can turn things around. That blowout game was not interesting to watch at all, I turned it off in the 3rd quarter. Not good for ratings.

Losing Dragic (or playing him injured) might be too much for Miami. He was playing great in the playoffs.

I'm sorry to say this, but I think the series is already over. I can't see Miami, with some key players banged up, coming back from 0-2 and winning 4 out of 6 vs LAL. In fact, it should be over 4-0 or 4-1, at this point.

Tough luck. Miami is a good team, but they had no chance at winning this one without Bam and Dragic. And they played well enough, including a huge third quarter. But it just wasn't enough without those two and without enough defensive stops.

The Heat offense without Bam is much like the Warriors offense without Draymond. He just makes things go and pushes the tempo when needed. He also does so much on defense. Without him, Game 2 is the result. This is headed for a sweep without him.

    Jimmy was amazing.

Still got the feeling they just avoided the sweep. Please, win another one and prove me wrong...

So glad they got at least one! Jimmy B gave us quite a display of willfulness and competition. Herro got inspired! He hasn't shown up to this series yet, not the way he was playing before anyway, but last night he started to find his groove. Hopefully they can continue that into the next game. Olynick and Leonard: just keep hitting your 3s!

At least Jimmy is finding a way to make the series interesting. I thought it would be over after this game. 3-2 still has LAL as the clear favorites, but one mistake and we suddenly have a game 7 to decide everything.

Huge game by Duncan Robinson, too.

Here's hoping Miami can pull the comeback!

Surprised the league didn’t suspend AD for hitting Crowder. Dude blatantly hit him. Got off free for it. Anyone else... suspended.

You said it. He should have been suspended for one game. If any other player (not a star, mind you) does it, it's an automatic suspension.

Well, Jimmy didn't have anything left and the Heat run ended there. Congrats to the Lakers.

And what about AD saying he doesn't know what's gonna happen next offseason? F*cking moron. Obviously he's going to opt-out, but LAL will offer him more money than anybody else and he's gonna be back. But to say that on the very same day they win the ring? Selfish doesn't even start to describe it.

Yeah, Game 5 really looked like a leave-it-all-on-the-court performance. They had a heck of a run. The Lakers will run it back and will probably have an even better roster next year. AD will be back, as weird as that statement is. Rich Paul is his agent.

Of their rotation, Howard and Morris come off the books. Maybe they re-sign. My guess is they do. But their market could be interesting. Dwight rebuilt his rep this year. Morris should fetch more than $1.75M. Rondo may opt in for the $2.6M. But maybe his market may say otherwise and he opts out after that performance. They’ll get Bradley back. Quinn Cook’s $3M is not fully guaranteed so he may be cut. McGee makes $4.2M so doubt he goes anywhere unless a team really needs a center and is willing to trade for him. KCP probably opts in at $8M.

But who knows what will happen until they smooth out the salary cap. There may be some solid role guys who see that there won’t be much money to go around in free agency and so they’ll be willing to take a cut to win one with the Lakers (this is my hope for the Dubs in FA).

Kudos to the Lakers. Now we can really focus on the off-season... however long it may be. And what our favorite team needs to re-tool up on (quite a lot of we’re being honest) to get past these dang defending champs and take back the crown!
