Wanted to make a separate thread for offseason talk for player movement, trades, etc.

    First off...

The Knicks and Mavs agreed to a deal...

NY receives: Jose Calderon, Shane Larkin, Sam Dalembert, Wayne Ellington, and the 34th and 51st overall picks this year.

DAL receives: Tyson Chandler, Raymond Felton

Good for a rebuilding Knicks team. Good for a contending Dallas team... the West is freaky good.

So... Mully is helping out the Queens, the Queens took the best shooter in the draft, there were rumors that the Queens liked Klay a lot and would be offering him a max contract, or close to it, and the Queens have managed to hold onto that giant mook Cousins without him going to jail or a mental institution...

This all smells like the Queens taking a giant bad karma crap in our cereal, and ruining what looks like a potential championship near future for the Warriors.

Really... Mully with the Queens is just all sorts of wrong.

With Wade, Bosh and Haslem all opting out, this pretty much guarantee's that Lebron is returning to Miami. They will be trying for Lowry at PG, but maybe Melo too...

Absolutely, it's just wrong that Mully is working for Sacto.
Maybe Warrior fans shouldn't have ruined his jersey retirement ceremony by booing Lacob... I was at that game telling people to shut up... just embarrassing.

You did the right thing Money... and that was exactly the bad karma I was referring to.

One more thing... the rumors of Ainge trading Rondo are coming around again, and the Queens were rumored to be interested in Rondo as well. Rondo + Cousins would be fucking scary.

Still think he stays in Miami. Just means Bosh & Wade take smaller deals (Wade being the least of em).

Who they surround the rest of the team with is a mystery. Only having Cole & Napier complicates things.

LeBron wants a max salary (deserving) but wants his teammates to take less and wants to be surrounded by better talent

He should just say, I'll go to whatever team pays me the max and can surround me with the best talent after I get mine. To hell with loyalty. That would be an honest answer at least.

But... this is why I don't like the guy. It isn't his fault he didn't win another championship. The people around him failed. That's LeBron's attitude.

I was just watching a video on Magic and Bird (the best two players after Jordan imo) and when they lost they blamed themselves. When Bird's college team lost to Magic's in the NCAA Championship, everyone knew Bird's team didn't have half of the talent Magic's team had. Afterwards, Bird completely blamed himself for the loss. After Bird's Celtics beat Magic's Lakers the first time they met in the NBA Championships, Magic completely blamed himself for the loss. LeBron... they don't surround me with the right talent.

Did Lebron say, "they don't surround me with enough talent"?

Because I wouldn't draw that conclusion from him wanting max money.
You don't know what is going on behind the scenes. Maybe he's sick of DWade or Bosh or their annoying coach.... Maybe his wife is in his ear saying it's time for him to go for his, get the big contract, and set up his kids for life. I don't blame him for going for the money. Maybe he doesn't want to try for a third ring with this group. That's his prerogative.

I don't blame him at all for wanting the max. He took less to create the Super Happy Friends in the first place.

Fairly sure he got less money than Chris Bosh last year

    Sheesh.

Guess it was a good thing we didn't land Ron Jeremy to be our HC/GM.
